I'm Sara, the designer behind McNeely Web Design. I build custom, mobile-friendly websites for small business owners, authors, and musicians — real people building real things, not big brands with big budgets. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, I work with clients up and down the East Coast, and I'm not a big, fancy agency. I'm your partner in progress.
Meet Sara
For fifteen years, I was a classroom educator — a job built entirely around understanding people, engaging them, and sparking curiosity. I spent over a decade figuring out how to take complicated things and make them clear, and how to make people feel confident about something new.
Turns out, that's exactly what launching a website is like for most small business owners, authors, and musicians: a little intimidating, a little overwhelming, and a lot easier with someone in your corner who can translate the technical stuff into something that actually makes sense.
So I made the leap from the classroom to web design, and I brought that same passion for teaching, clarity, and connection with me. Today, I get to help people turn their story into a website they're proud to send people to.
